PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently treat and reuse waste water generated when contaminants stuck to equipment of a waste incinerator are removed by using high-pressure water in the case of dismantling the equipment of the waste incinerator. SOLUTION: This cleaning method comprises insolubilizing Pd, Cd and Hg in the first reaction tank 1 by adding a dithiocarbamic acid-based chelating agent to the waste water, adsorbing dioxins in the second reaction tank 3 by adding powdery activated carbon to the waste water treated in the tank 1, reducing and insolubilizing Cr, Se and As in the third reaction tank 4 by adding ferrous salt to the waste water treated in the tank 3, carrying out flocculation treatment in a flocculation reaction tank 5 by adding inorganic and organic flocculants to the waste water treated in the tank 4, separating the treated water by using a flocculating and settling tank 6 and a filter 11 and reusing the treated water thus separated as high-pressure water.
