PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor that is simple in structure and in which a battery is fixed so that it may not move radially during use, and the battery can be extracted easily by releasing fixation when taking out the battery. SOLUTION: In an electric razor whose bottom lid 1 can be opened and closed to remove a battery 3, a backlash prevention means 4 is provided to prevent radial backlash of the battery 3 with the bottom lid 1 mounted and with the bottom lid 1 removed, backlash prevention of the backlash prevention means 4 is released.
