PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game board checking method capable of simply checking position shifting and failure of a part-mounting hole machined in the game board. SOLUTION: In the game board 34, a cell plate 204 is stuck to the board surface side of a veneer 200 and part-mounting holes 240 to 254 for mounting a game part are machined in designated positions by an NC router. In the surface 206 of the cell plate 204, a background image 208 and reverse images of the opening shapes of the part-mounting holes taking the back view as reference are previously printed in the respective designated positions. When router machining for forming the part-mounting holes 240 to 254 is performed from the back 238 side of the veneer 200, the reverse images printed on the cell plate 204 are superposed on the opening parts of the part-mounting holes to be removed. In the case where shifting is caused in machining, portions (214, 226, 228) of contours of the reverse images remain in the cell plate 204. The shifting can be visually confirmed to simply check position shifting and failure in machining.
