<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep excellent operation by preventing the clogging of a blowing pipe for blowing a produced gas into an alkali liquid. SOLUTION: In the organic halogen compound decomposing apparatus provided with a reaction tube 15 for decomposing the organic halogen compound and a waste gas treating tank 41 for neutralizing an acidic gas of the produced gas decomposed in the reaction tube 15, after a scavenging process where air is fed as a scavenging gas into the reaction tube 15 from the point of time of sopping the decomposition reaction to discharge the produced gas is finished, a cooling process is performed by feeding the air being the scavenging gas as a cooling gas successively for a prescribed time to cool a blowing pipe 45, thus the boiling of the alkali liquid in the blowing pipe 45, and the scattering of the slurry and the clogging of the blowing pipe 45 due to the slurry are prevented to keep excellent treatment operation.</p> |
