PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wear of both electrode surfaces. SOLUTION: In a welding method, welding equipment, and an electrode part for welding, an insulating cap 14 formed of an electric insulator is placed over a lower electrode surface 13a, a groove 15 is provided in this cap 14, only the central part C of the lower electrode surface 13a is exposed as a part required for the welding work at a bottom opening part of the groove 15 while other parts D and D are covered for insulation, and an superposed contact part of stranded ends 11a and 11a is held between a tip surface 16a of a projecting part 16 provided on an upper electrode surface 12a and the center part C of the lower electrode surface to perform welding.
