PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for frozen dessert food production, with which an operation can be carried out without committing a mistake even in the case of an inexperienced user. SOLUTION: This apparatus for soft ice cream production produces a frozen dessert food by cooling a mix properly supplied from a hopper for storing and cold reserving the mix by using a cooling cylinder while stirring. The apparatus is equipped with a liquid crystal indicator 76 capable of exhibiting a letter and/or a figure and a microcomputer 46 for performing processes such as cooling and sterilization and controlling the display in the liquid crystal indicator 76. The microcomputer carries out a directional indication in each process by the liquid crystal indicator.
