PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the transmitting sound pressure to be best matched to a contrast medium. SOLUTION: The sound pressure in transmitting an ultrasonic beam is changed by several stages, and values of integral calculus of harmonic components in each transmitting sound pressures are compared. Then the transmitting sound pressure with the largest value of integral calculus is adopted and the harmonic imaging is executed. As a result, the imaging can be executed with the transmitting sound pressure best matched to the contrast medium. |
