BUILD-UP WELDING METHOD AND EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a build-up welding method and build-up welding equipment which enable prevention of defective welding in a bent tube such as an elbow. SOLUTION: A tubular or bar shaped member to be build-up welded is divided into a required number of weld areas which are not mutually superposed, and build-up welding is performed by operating a welding torch 3 in a prescribed manner to the weld areas while controlling at a prescribed value a feeding quantity of welding metal powder 2, a welding current and/or voltage and a gas feeding quantity.
