<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for casting simulation which in a method for analyzing the movement of molten metal flowing in a casting mold with a finite difference method, is more excellent in accuracy than the conventional method even in the case that the number of divided factors is few. SOLUTION: The molten metal flowing movement as the generation of molten metal flowing is analyzed by using a mold factor adjoining a portion, in which a cavity factor is formed as a stepping state as virtual stepping flowing factor, to reduce the generation of error in cavity factor portion, of the stepped state. In this case, even if the molten metal flows in the virtual stepping flowing factor on originally a mold factor, is assumed, the error is not brought, since no contradiction generated in the molten metal quantity, because of analysis as the virtual stepping flowing factor is, too, fully filled at the same time, when the adjacent cavity factor is fully filled.</p> |
