PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical handy type, i.e., portable sheet metal joining device. SOLUTION: The device is composed of a handy type joining head 5 that can be hand-held, and a hydraulic booster 7 that is connected to the joining head 5 with a flexible tube 6. The joining head 5 is equipped with a pair of die 2 and punch 3, with the punch 3 advancing for a prescribed stroke by hydraulic operating oil that is supplied from the hydraulic booster 7, and thereby joining the sheet metal in cooperation with the die 2.
