CAST SLAB HAVING EXCELLENT SOLIDIFIED STRUCTURE AND STEEL OBTAINED BY WORKING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cast slab having excellent solidified structure capable of enhancing equiaxed crystal ratio in the solidified cast slab to suppress the occurrence of internal defect such as center segregation and center porosity by giving molten steel the stirring flow with an electromagnetic stirring and improving hardness and wear resistance of the steel product by preventing the occurrence of negative segregating zone in the inner part of the cast slab, and to provide a steel obtained by working the cast slub. SOLUTION: Stirring thrust is applied while being changed to the molten steel 12 poured into a mold 11 by using magnetic stirrers 16a and 16b, thus the negative segregating zone formed when the molten steel 12 is solidified is segmentized into the stripped state.
