PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a massager capable of selecting two kinds of stimulations to peform massaging and capable of massaging the same treatment region by different stimulations. SOLUTION: A surface stimulating treatment means and spot stimulating treatment means 4a-4d made of a plunger type solenoid are respectively attached to a chair main body 2. The surface stimulating treatment means is equipped with air bags 21-24 arranged to a backrest part 13 and an air supply and discharge device 25 for supplying and discharging air with respect to the air bags. The air bags are expanded and contracted by the supply and discharge of air to press the regions to be treated of the user supported on the backrest part with planar expanses having predetermined sizes accompanied by the expansion of the air bags to apply planar weak bodily sensation stimulations to the regions to be treated. The treatment means 4a-4d are arranged to the backrest part so as to be superposed on the back sides of the air bags 21-24. When the corresponding air bag is contracted by the movement of the plunger 35 of these means, spot-like strong bodily sensation stimulation is applied to the region to be treated massaged by the air bag.
