PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air bag device capable of contributing to the simplification and cost reduction of an air sending system connected to air bags and suitable for arranging the air bags at a high density. SOLUTION: The air bag device is used as an operation element 2 expanded and contracted by the supply and discharge of air to massage a user supported on a chair type air massager. Two air bags 25 and 28 provided to the operation element 2 are superposed one upon another in the expansion and contraction directions of the air bags. The mutually adjacent superposed parts of the air bags are connected by a connection means 23 consisting of a female joint 43 and a male joint 47. The joint 43 is attached to one air bag 25 among the air bags 25 and 28 superposed one upon another in an adjacent state and has a connection cylindrical part 41. The joint 47 is attached to the other air bag 28 to be fitted in the connection cylindrical part and the inner space part thereof has an insertion cylindrical part 45 used as an air passage 45a for allowing both air bags to communicate with each other. An air supply and discharge port 24, to which an air feed pipe 91 is connected, is provided only to one air bag.
