PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a game ball take-in device for a slot machine which is capable of taking a prescribed number of game balls continuously and smoothly and can easily be assembled and installed. SOLUTION: The slot machine for playing by using pachinko balls with a prescribed number of balls as a single unit as game mediums has constitution obtained by serially providing and unitizing a ball flowing down gutter 15 in which at least one unit of the game balls 14 can be supplied and stored in a piled state, a game ball counting and ejecting device D to be connected and installed on the exit side of the gutter 15, a sensor 26 for setting the number of the balls provided at the gutter 15 and a ball passage switching device E capable of switching to a game ball take-in passage 27 and a return ball passage 28, thereby the game balls can continuously and smoothly be taken in.
