CUTTING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STELL RECTANGULAR PIPE AND CUTTING BLADE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide economical cutting method and device for a steel rectangular pipe capable of always providing fine cutting surface and dimension and forming pipes compactly and having versatility to cope with cutting of pipes of different sizes and a long service life. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a stationary blade 13 in which sliding surfaces are formed on both sides of a slit to insert a moving blade 14 and cutting ports inserted so as to arrange small hole opened in advance on an upper side of a rectangular pipe side wall within the slit are opened within both of the sliding surfaces, the moving blade 14 constituted of a first blade part for cutting an upper part of the pipe from the small hole facing to the inside of the slit up to an opposed surface from an internal surface side by horizontal moving and a second blade part which is located at a lateral position of the first blade part and cuts the remaining three surfaces from an internal surface side of a cutting position by vertical moving and an elevating/lowering frame 2 and a transversely moving frame 3 for making the moving blade 14 perform two stage cutting by sliding the moving blade 14 in horizontal and vertical directions within the slit of the stationary blade 13.
