PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic press capable of stabilizing the posture of a hydraulic piston and a movable member and correctly positioning a die with respect to a punch while pressing a work with the hydraulic piston being protruded most from a hydraulic cylinder, and a die holder and the die being brought closest to the punch. SOLUTION: The hydraulic piston is guided on the side opposite to the side with the die fixed thereto. A hydraulic press comprises a hydraulic cylinder 20 fixed to a base 10, a hydraulic piston 25 which is slidably fitted to the hydraulic cylinder and moved by the pressure oil fed to the hydraulic cylinder, a movable member 31 which is fixed to one end side of the hydraulic piston and moved toward the work, an extension part 28 extending from the other end side of the hydraulic piston, and a guide member 29 which is provided on the base or the hydraulic cylinder, and guides the extension part when the hydraulic piston is moved.
