A system and method for enabling mobile handset users to create and manage messages composed of both text and multimedia attachments, and communicate these messages to other mobile handset users using existing handsets and wireless architecture. According to the present invention, SMS messages together with voice attachments, or other type of attachments, are composed, communicated, monitored and managed. These attachments may be, for example, bit-map icons, vocal tones, audio and video clips, business card information and any other data attachments. Through this attachment method, a multi-part message (MPM) is created. |
