PURPOSE: A method and a system for purchasing a race ticket are provided to purchase the race tickets through the Internet or a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) of a manager in real time. CONSTITUTION: The system includes a management server(6), a bank server(10) connected to the management server, and a DB server(8). The users(2) are connected to the management server via the Internet(4). The users connect to the management server by using a computer, a PDA, or a mobile phone. The management server offers various information related with a cycle race or a boat race to the users. The DB server manages a notice DB(12), a member DB(14), a moving picture DB(16), a deposition/withdrawal DB(20), and a list of entrants DB(22). The users watch the moving pictures of a cycle race or a boat race. The management server displays a race to the users in real time. The users bet on a player by referring to the information provided by the management server.
