PURPOSE: To accurately and quickly feed slurry to the apexes on both surfaces of a corrugated sheet, in such equipment of manufacturing honeycomb structures for purifying exhaust gas that is designed to apply the slurry containing filler metal and a binder on a pre-winding corrugated sheet, for the purpose of joining metallic flat sheet and a metallic corrugated sheet to each other. CONSTITUTION: Before a corrugated sheet 16 is fed to a winding mans, which winds the corrugated sheet 16 while it is superimposed on a flat sheet, at least one pair of gears 18A rotating synchronously with the movement of the corrugate sheet 16 to the winding means are meshed with each other, with both surfaces of the corrugated sheet 16 held in-between. In this case, for the purpose of coating the apexes 16a on both surfaces of the corrugated sheet 16 with the slurry 19 containing the filler metal and the binder, the slurry 19 is supplied from the slurry feeding means 20A to the bottom 18a of the teeth of each gear 18A.
