PURPOSE: A drawing device for knitting machine containing a means for modifying the shape of outer surfaces of belts by a method for differentiation of the drawing force applied on laps of knitted material or laps is provided. Therefore, the modification means increases the tension force of belts and a contact area between one or more belts and the knitted material. CONSTITUTION: The continuous drawing device for a straight row knitting machine with one or more sections(1, 2) comprises two elastic belts(5, 6) rotated in opposite directions by two horizontal shafts(7, 8) driven by two-way motors and passing over two or more counter shafts(10, 11) located close to the stitch forming zone. The counter shafts are mounted on two or more frames(12, 13) each supported by a drive shaft to press belts each other under the action of friction force applied on the frames by the drive shaft and the device contains a means(21, 22) for modifying the shape of outer surfaces of belts by a method for differentiation of the drawing force applied on laps of knitted material or laps.
