PURPOSE: A draft gear in a rescue vehicle is provided to pull easily even if a trailing vehicle and a tow vehicle are not located on horizontal ground, and to prevent damage of a vehicle occurred from shaking of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A draft gear in a rescue vehicle consists of an actuating cylinder part(100) made up by a first cylinder(110), a second cylinder(120), and a third cylinder(130) having a piston to lift up and down and move back and forth a vehicle body; an adapter part(200) connected with the actuating cylinder and having a fixed apparatus to fix a trailing vehicle in both parts. The actuating cylinder consists of a ball(111) in one side and a ball-and-socket connected with the ball by a ball joint. The fixed apparatus consists of a jig for fixing(210) coupled with a hook for pulling mounted in the trailing vehicle and a pin for fixing(211) fixing the jig. Even if the tow vehicle and the trailing vehicle are not located on the horizontal ground, the adapter part is rotatable to the third cylinder and movement of the trailing vehicle to the horizontal position is not necessary. The fixed apparatus of the adapter part and the trailing vehicle inserts the jig for fixing to the tow ring of the vehicle and fixes using the pin for fixing. Damage of the vehicle by shaking during pulling of the trailing vehicle is minimized.
