PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the comfortable operation of an air conditioner by reducing rasping noise. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is equipped with control operational equipment which orders the operation frequency of a compressor, using the operation state on indoor side and outdoor side, a scroll type of compressor which has a fixed scroll 14 and a slewing scroll 15 driven through the crank shaft coupled with a motor 6 and whose capacity control is possible with operation frequency, a sealed container which is made of a steel drum side plate, a head cover 25, and a lower cover so that it may cover the motor 6 and the compressor 5, and an inverter which decides the carrier frequency of not less than 4 kHz and not more than 10 kHz regardless of operation frequency and drives the motor 6 with the ordered operation frequency. |
