PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is for turning paper sheet upside down, so as to copy an image on the second surface of paper and house the paper in an intermediate tray, with a compact device, and capable of making the carrying speed when the length of the paper is short, lower than that when the paper is long. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an intermediate tray unit 12, a carrying path for feeding the paper to the intermediate tray unit 12, a carrying path for ejecting the paper from the tray unit 12 and a carrying roller provided in a carrying path going from a process part to the tray unit 12. Then, the carrying paths for feeding and ejecting the papers are arranged to cross each other in one end part of the tray unit 12, the carrying roller carries the paper at a speed lower than the carrying speed at the time of passing through the process part and a means for executing control for carrying a short-size paper at a speed lower than that of a long-size paper is provided. |
