PURPOSE:To obtain a single polarization harmonic light stably from a semiconductor laser pumped inner resonator solid state laser. CONSTITUTION:A laser material 104 is pumped by means of a semiconductor laser 101 and basic wave oscillation takes place between an input mirror 105 and an output mirror 106. Since the basic wave in a resonator is a standing wave, the light subjected to wavelength conversion through a nonlinear crystal 107 advances in the opposite directions. When each optical component is subjected, on the end face thereof, to nonreflection coating for higher harmonics, a single polarization harmonic light can be obtained. |
