<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the disposal of a frame even when data amounts increase, and to suppress a delay time by compressing frame data when congestion is generated. CONSTITUTION:The frame data from a terminal are temporarily stored in a reception buffer 11 of a switchboard 100, and the data amounts are compared with a threshold value by a congestion detecting part 12. Then, when the congestion is detected, the frame data are compressed a data compressing part 13, and transmitted by adding a compression display flag to a frame header. At the time of transmitting the frame data, to the terminal, presence or absence of the addition of the compression display flag of the transmission data is discriminated, and when the flag is added, the frame data are restored by a data restoring part 22, and transmitted to the terminal. Thus, the transmission of the frame can be efficiently attained by compressing the frame data only when the congestion is generated.</p> |
