PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to combine effectively a horizontal deflection coil with a coil separator and improve a deflection characteristic by enlarging a size of the horizontal deflection coil. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke includes a coil separator. The coil separator(10) is formed with a screen part, a rear cover, and a neck portion(13). The screen portion is combined with a screen face of a cathode ray tube. The neck portion(13) is combined with an electron gun portion of the cathode ray tube. A horizontal deflection coil and a vertical deflection coil are formed on an inner circumference and an outer circumference of the coil separator(10). A ferrite core is formed on an outer face of the vertical deflection coil. Two or more magnet rings are combined with the neck portion(13) by a bobbin. A hook is formed on the coil separator(10). A slit(13a) is formed on the neck portion(13) adjacent to the hook. A guide projection is formed on an inner face of the bobbin.
