A curable silicone composition comprises at least (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups in a molecule, (B) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in a molecule, (C) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst, (D) an approximately spherical silica fine powder having an average particle diameter of 50 μm or less and (E) glass fibers having an average fiber length of 1,000 μm or less and an average fiber diameter of 30 μm or less. A cured product produced by curing the curable silicone composition is also disclosed.

1. A curable silicone composition comprising:
(A) an organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups in a molecule; (B) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in a molecule, included at a quantity whereby an amount of silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in the component (B) is from 0.5 to 10 moles per 1 mole of the alkenyl groups in the component (A); (C) a catalytic quantity of a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst; (D) an approximately spherical silica fine powder having an average particle diameter of 50 μm or less, included at a quantity of 200 parts by mass or more relative to a total of 100 parts by mass of the component (A) and the component (B); and (E) glass fibers having an average fiber length of 1,000 μm or less and an average fiber diameter of 30 μm or less, included at a quantity of 25 parts by mass or more relative to a total of 100 parts by mass of the component (A) and the component (B); wherein the total content of the component (D) and the component (E) is 900 parts by mass or less relative to the total of 100 parts by mass of the component (A) and the component (B).
