PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify color matching of image data and to reduce the capacity of a read buffer by a scanner. SOLUTION: Point-sequential form image data received from an external storage means are color-matched by a color matching section 14 and subject to gradation correction for each color component by a color correction section 16 and the resulting data are stored in a coding code buffer 10. The color data stored in the coding code buffer 10 are transferred externally via a bus bridge 4. Furthermore, image data in area-sequence by a scanner 18 are corrected by the color correction section and stored in the coding code buffer 10. Thus, the configuration of processing data as a color conversion accelerator and the configuration of processing data read by the scanner 18 are used partly in common. |
