APPARATUS FOR CHECKING RAW MATERIAL CONVERSION IN ROTARY KILN

PURPOSE: An apparatus for checking raw material conversion in a rotary kiln is provided to improve quality of calcium oxide used as flux and for protecting the body of the furnace by early controlling reaction temperature after checking calcining temperature differently applied during conversion of limestone and dolomite. CONSTITUTION: In a calcium oxide manufacturing facility equipped with a preheater(106) into which raw ore such as water washed and sorted limestone or dolomite is supplied, a kiln(110) discharging the thermal decomposed material to the side of a cooler(112) after thermal decomposing the supplied raw ore with a heat source of a burner(111) installed at the exit part, and exhaust ducts(109a,109b) a flue gas which is generated during calcining reaction in the kiln(110) and passes through the preheater(106) is exhausted into the outside, the apparatus for checking raw material conversion in a rotary kiln comprises a first measuring part which is installed at an entrance chute(108) of the kiln(110) to sense an atmospheric temperature of the kiln(110); a second measuring part which is installed at exhaust ducts(109a,109b) to sense temperature of a flue gas that is exhausted after heat exchanged with raw ore charged into the preheater(106) as the flue gas is passing through the preheater(106); and a controller judging a conversion time of the raw ore by comparing deviation values of the measured temperatures with a set value after receiving temperature values measured at the first and second measuring parts, and controlling a heat source temperature of the burner(111) to provided with heat consumption amounts corresponding to the operation converted raw ore.
