PURPOSE: A rear suspension of a vehicle is provided to make the assembling simple and to achieve satisfactory rigidity to a horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION: Right and left separable rear suspensions(10,10') are composed of knuckles(11,11'), disks(12,12') fixed to the knuckles, trail arms(13,13') connected to the knuckles, fixed to the vehicle body, and dampers(21,22) fixed to the knuckle, fixed to the vehicle body. The dampers have a spring. The distal end portion of the knuckle are fixed each to hinge-connecting members(32) installed to a cross member(30) by a hinge shaft so as to be turned. A hinge-connecting member is installed to the distal end portion of the knuckle and the hinge-connecting member of the distal end portion of the knuckle and the hinge-connecting member of the cross member are fixed by the hinge shaft to be turned. Therefore, satisfactory horizontal rigidity is achieved and productivity is improved.
