DOUBLE POLARIZATION DIVERSITY ACTIVE MICROSTRIP ARRAY ANTENNA

PURPOSE: A double polarization diversity active microstrip array antenna is provided to control the phase and level of a radio signal by directly connecting a microstrip radiation element to a duplexer, a low noise amplifier, and a phase shifter. CONSTITUTION: A flat substrate(42) is made of a dielectric substance. A ground surface(43) is layered on the whole surface of the dielectric substrate(42) and has two feeding slots(44) having a predetermined angle. A lower patch radiation element(45) is located on a predetermined height from the ground surface(43) and has an area narrower than that of the ground surface(43). An upper patch radiation element(46) is located on a predetermined height from the lower patch radiation element(45) and has an area narrower than that of the lower patch radiation element(45). A feeder line(41) is connected to the flat substrate(42) to supply power to the antennas(45,46). A supporting unit supports the lower patch radiation element(45) and the upper patch radiation element(46) from the ground surface(43).
