PURPOSE: A seat bracket for a vehicle is provided to enhance the safety of an occupant in a vehicle room by restraining the contacting of the occupant to the cargo invading the vehicle room due to a head-on or rear-end collision. CONSTITUTION: A seat bracket for a vehicle comprises a first bracket(10) having a fixing unit(11) connected to a floor panel via a bolt and a second bracket(20) having a connecting unit and combined with a seat frame(40). A rib(50) is formed on the bent portion of the second bracket. In a head-on or rear-end collision, the shock energy is transmitted to the first and second brackets. Then, the bent portions of the first bracket and the second bracket are restrained from deforming. Therefore, the contacting of the cargo to the body of an occupant in a vehicle room is avoided.
