PURPOSE: An apparatus for blocking upstream gas using charging coal in a coke oven is provided to prevent flame and raw gas generated during coal charging operation into an oven coke chamber from being discharged into the outside of the drop sleeve using coal supplied through a drop sleeve guiding and charging coal. CONSTITUTION: In an equipment charging coal using a drop sleeve guiding coal in a coal storage tank into a coke oven chamber, the apparatus for blocking upstream gas using charging coal in a coke oven is characterized in that the drop sleeve comprises an upper pipe(16), a center pipe(17) and a lower pipe(18), a disk shaped rotation plate(20) is rotationally installed inside the center pipe(17) to open or close the inner passage, a rotation shaft of the rotation plate(20) comprises a blocking part(10) connected to a motor member(27) providing with a rotational driving source; and a sensor part(30) having a level sensing sensor(31) measuring a charging amount of coal charged in the state that the rotation plate(20) is closed. |
