PURPOSE: Provided are a composition for tablet detergent capable of producing a detergent tablet excellent in strength, solubility and tablet-forming property, and a detergent tablet produced from the same. CONSTITUTION: The composition consists of 60-95 wt% of detergent particles containing surfactant, builder and other detergent components; 1-15 wt% of expanding granular disintegrants; 3-30 wt% of granular post-additives; and 0.1-10 wt% of microcrystalline cellulose powders. The surfactant consists of anionic surfactant and nonionic surfactant, and comprises 10-45 wt% of final detergent tablet. The expanding granular disintegrant has an average particle size of 400 micron or more, and consists of one or more of cellulose or cellulose derivatives, minerals containing expanding polymer, and clay minerals.
