PURPOSE: A liquid crystal panel for a liquid crystal display and a method of fabricating the panel are provided to prevent spacers from conglomerating so as to improve yield of the liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(100) for a liquid crystal display includes the first substrate(110) on which a plurality of gate lines(136) and data lines intersecting each other are formed, the second substrate(120) on which a color filter is formed, and a seal pattern placed between the first and second substrates at the marginal portion of the substrates. The seal pattern has a liquid crystal injection hole at one side thereof. The panel further includes a photoresist pillar(140) formed near the liquid crystal injection hole, a plurality of spacers distributed between the first and second substrates, and liquid crystal(128) filled between the substrates within the area defined by the seal pattern.
