PURPOSE: Provided is a mold for a cylinder head wherein a core to form a water jacket is formed to endure horizontal stress of molten metal so that it prevents a vain from being generated to raise cooling efficiency in an engine. CONSTITUTION: In the mold for the cylinder head which comprises the parts of: the mold(53) which forms the lower part of a cavity(51) processed in a burner type as a location to mold the cylinder head; and the core(55) which is placed in a certain location of the cavity and matched to the lower shape of the cavity in the lower part to form the water jacket in the cylinder head, the mold for the cylinder head is characterized by a concave part(57) at a lattice part between each burner of the core.
