PURPOSE: A bolster adjuster of a seat back for a vehicle is provided to prevent unbalance of a passenger in turning suddenly or cornering by driving a bolster with actuating a motor, and to improve comfortableness during traveling by keeping the correct carriage. CONSTITUTION: A bolster adjusting apparatus of a seat back for a vehicle is composed of a sensor part(20) having a sensing knob(21) detecting the posture of a passenger, and a detecting sensor(22) transmitting an electrical signal to an operating motor(31) according to the signal of the sensing knob; and an operating part(30) having a rotating shaft(32) turning by receiving power from the operating motor, a pinion gear(33) and a rack gear(34) installed in both ends of the rotating shaft to convert rotation into linear motion, and a bolster(35) installed in the end of the rack gear to support the body of the passenger. Preponderance of the passenger is prevented in turning suddenly or cornering, and comfortableness is improved with correcting by detecting the poor posture.
