PURPOSE: A communication method of a portable type information terminal using a bluetooth is provided to mount the bluetooth to a PDA(Personal Information Manager), so that since a user of the terminal can connect to the Internet through only the operation of PDA without connecting a cable, the use of the device as a PDA or a terminal is convenient. CONSTITUTION: A bluetooth chip(110) is mounted to a PDA(100) and a cellular phone(200) for performing a short-distance wireless communication with each other. The base stations(300-1-300-n) pursue positions of the plurality of cellular phones(200), transmit/receive wireless signals about the cellular phones(200), convert a communication protocol and encode/decode the protocol. A base station controller(400) manages the plurality of base stations(300-1-300-n), controls an allocation of the communication channel as to the cellular phone(200) and determines the hand-over. An information providing relay center(500) transmits a service provided the corresponding server when a user of the PDA(100) requests various services such as fax, mail and Internet search etc. to the PDA(100) through the cellular phone(200).
