METHOD FOR PRODUCING RICE BY CULTURING IN MUSHROOM SUCH AS GANODERMA LUCIDUM

PURPOSE: Provided is a process of the subject rice by inoculating Ganoderma lucidum (Fr.) Karst. into unpolished rice or a mixture of regular rice and unpolished rice and then culturing. Whereby, the rice is useful as functional food. CONSTITUTION: Ganoderma lucidum KCTC 6283 is cultured in a liquid medium of 3% glucose and 0.5% yeast extract, and unpolished rice or mixed rice is washed, sterilized at 120deg.C for 60 min, cooled for 5 to 6 hr and added to the medium. The cultured Ganoderma lucidum is inoculated into the medium, cultured at 25 to 30deg.C for 10 to 15 days and dried at 40 to 90deg.C for 5 to 15 hr.
