<p>PURPOSE: A near field optical recording device is provided to form an air inducing channel reaching an opposite lens from an exterior of a head slider on the head slider for mounting the opposite lens near to a surface of a recording medium, thereby preventing thermal transformation and an optical characteristic change of a lens. CONSTITUTION: Air streams(26) caused by disk rotation flow into the inside of a slider(12) mounted with a lens. Air flows into an air inducing channel(28) inside of the slider. The air flowing into the air inducing channel flows up to a space between an objective lens(22) and an opposite lens(24) along the channel. The opposite lens neighbors with a disk surface. The air streams drop a rising temperature by thermal exchange, to prevent temperature of the lens opposite to the disk surface from rising over a regular standard. A direction of the air inducing channel is conformed with a direction of the air streams.</p> |
