PURPOSE: A synchronizer of a manual transmission is provided to prevent nibble and crash, and to improve shift quality by installing a shift shock absorbing unit between a chamfer part of a clutch gear and a speed gear in combining a sleeve with the chamfer part of the clutch gear. CONSTITUTION: A synchronizer of a manual transmission is composed of a sleeve(1) combined with a hub(7) to turn with an input shaft and move axially; a synchronizer ring(3) turning with the sleeve, and receiving axial action force of a synchronizer key(9) in moving the sleeve axially; and a clutch gear(5) synchronized with the synchronizer ring, and combined with the sleeve to transmit driving force of the input shaft to a speed gear(11). The clutch gear consists of a cone part(13) integrally formed with the speed gear for synchronizing with the synchronizing, and a chamfer part(15) combined with the speed gear by inserting a shift shock absorbing unit. Shift shock is absorbed in combining the sleeve with the chamfer part of the clutch gear by mounting the shock absorbing unit between the chamfer part and the speed gear. Shift quality is improved with restricting crash and nibble.
