The present invention provides an information setting device and an information collection system using the same. Remote control code data can be well and flexibly used, in this way, a user can perform correct setting only through simple input operation. The information setting device (300) comprises: a user interface unit (310) for indicating a user to press a button arranged on a remote controller (100), and receiving a signal transmitted by triggering of press-down of the button; an analyzing unit (320) for analyzing a binary signal indicated by the signal; a searching unit (330) for searching a specific button which is arranged on the remote controller (100) and is indicated to be pressed at the next time according to an analysis result of the analyzing unit (320) and remote control code data; and a setting unit (340) for determining the type of a controlled object of the remote controller (100) according to a signal transmitted by triggering of press-down of the specific button searched by the searching unit (330), and then setting information of the type for an SGW (400). |
