METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SELECTING BETWEEN HOT WATER AND HEATING MODES OF BOILER USING REMOTE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for selecting between hot water and heating modes of a boiler are provided to improve the convenience by selecting the hot water/heating modes through operating switches. CONSTITUTION: A boiler has a control section(200) for controlling the operation of the boiler and a remote controller(100) installed at an outside of the body. The remote controller(100) includes heating/hot water selecting sections(1,2) for allowing a user to select the heating/hot water modes and the temperature thereof. The operating condition of the boiler is displayed in a display section(11). The first carrier telecommunication receiving/transmitting section(12) transmits a remote control signal to the control section(200) of the body and receives various signals from the control section(200) of the body. A remote controller microcomputer recognizes an output signal of the heating/hot water selecting sections(1,2) and outputs the signal to the first carrier telecommunication receiving/transmitting section(12). In addition, the remote controller microcomputer outputs various boiler information through the display section(11).
