SEALING STRUCTURE FOR BEARING FOR WATER PUMP

PURPOSE: A sealing structure is provided to increase durability of bearing and improve quality of product by preventing coolant or foreign substances from being introduced into the gap formed between the pump driving shaft and the bearing. CONSTITUTION: A sealing structure comprises a sealing member(30) to be inserted into a gap formed between a pump driving shaft(10) and a bearing(20). The sealing member includes a first lip(32) and a second lip(34) arranged inside of the bearing; a plurality of protrusions(34a,34b,34c) protruded from the second lip so as to form a sealing surface with the pump driving shaft; a first slinger(36) mounted at the outer surface of the bearing and bent in an axial direction; and a second slinger(38) mounted at the outer surface of the pump driving shaft and bent outward from the bearing. At least one of the protrusions is inserted into the gap formed between the first and second slingers so as to seal the gap.
