PURPOSE: An air conditioner with sound insulation device and manufacturing method of the same are provided to improve plasticity and sound insulating performance by improving adhesion structure of sound insulating material. CONSTITUTION: Adhering parts(33) and non-adhering parts(34) are alternatingly arranged on an adhesion part of layered sound proof material constituting a sound insulation device(30). The layered sound proof material includes sheet type sound insulation material(31); and porous sound absorbing material(32a,32b) adhering on the sound insulation material. The adhering parts are lengthily arranged in direction crossing bent direction of the sound proof material so that the sound absorbing material is deformed to be wrinkled.
