PURPOSE: A remote error diagnosis processing system and method is provided to install a network processor and a communication controller at a laundry machine for performing an automatic service call to a service center and notifying a user of error specifications and repair request data if an error occurs at the laundry machine. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of enabling a controller to generate an error and its repair data if an error occurs at a laundry machine(S1), enabling a communication controller to process a communication and a signal coupling function with a network processor(S2), enabling the network processor to perform a service call to a service center by using an identification code(S3), checking if a transmission of the error and the repair data is requested by the service center, continuing to check a request of the data transmission if the data is not requested, and checking if the identification code, transmitted from the network processor, is legal(S4, S5), checking if a transmission of the error and the repair data is completed in the case that the identification code is legal(S6), and transmitting to the laundry machine a response for displaying a visit date and time of a repairman or an error status(S7). |
