PURPOSE: A method for accelerating the growth of animals or plants using pegmatite is provided, thereby accelerating the growth of plants or animals, and improving the taste of plants or animals. CONSTITUTION: The method for accelerating the growth of animals or plants comprises feeding a feed containing a pegmatite powder or the pegmatite leachate to plants or animals, wherein the pegmatite leachate is prepared by dipping pegmatite rock or its powder having a particle size of 10 mm or less in water for 12 to 72 hours and collecting the supernatant, wherein the pegmatite powder is dipped in water in the amount of 0.1 to 10 wt.%, preferably 0.5 wt.%; the pegmatite powder having a particle size of 500 to 6,000 meshes is mixed with a concentrated feed for feeding plants or animals in the amount of 0.5 to 10 wt.%.
