PURPOSE: A pickup cooling device of an optical disk driver is provided to install a cooling unit for conducting heat of a pickup to an exterior, and to install an emitting unit for emitting the conducted heat by being connected to the cooling unit, thereby maintaining temperature of the pickup at a low level. CONSTITUTION: A main axis(53) and a sub axis(55) are installed on both ends of a pickup(51). The pickup is supported through the main axis and the sub axis, and is transferred to inner/outer circumferences of a disk(D). The main axis and the sub axis are formed as pipe shapes. A cooling unit inside of the main axis and the sub axis conducts heat of the pickup contacted with the main axis and the sub axis to an exterior. An emitting unit connected to the cooling unit emits the heat conducted through the cooling unit.
