PURPOSE: Structure for attaching a tailgate latch of a vehicle is provided to reduce a producing cost by simplifying structure of the tailgate latch and to improve appearance of the tailgate latch. CONSTITUTION: Structure for attaching a tail gate latch in a vehicle comprises a tail gate latch combined to a tail gate panel by a combining bolt(12) and a weld nut; a base(11) mounted on the tail gate latch; a combining hole(11a) formed on the base; a fence plate(15) mounted on a rear portion of the base; a through hole mounted on the fence plate corresponding to the combing hole; and a tail gate trim closing the base. A head part of the combing bolt is inserted to the combing hole of the base to prevent the combining bolt from being protruded. Thereby, the structure for attaching the tailgate latch in the vehicle reduces a producing cost by simplifying attaching the tailgate latch. Moreover, the structure for attaching the tailgate latch improves appearance by preventing the combining bolt from being protruded.
