PURPOSE: A method for the prevention and treatment of fish diseases using pegmatite is provided, thereby effectively preventing and treating the fish disease caused by pathogenic microorganisms, and solving problems caused by water contamination. CONSTITUTION: The method for the prevention and treatment of fish diseases using pegmatite is characterized by adding crude pegmatite stone or pegmatite leachate into the water, in which the pegmatite leachate is obtained by powdering pegmatite, dipping the pegmatite powder in water or organic solvent, and collecting the supernatant; the pegmatite leachate is prepared by using distilled water, hot water, ethanol, methanol, or a combination thereof; the pegmatite leachate is added into the water in the amount of 0.1 to 10 wt.%; and the pathogenic microorganisms resulting in fish diseases are selected from Staphylococcus sp., Streptococcus iniae, Edwardsiella tarda, E. coli, Aeromonas hydrophila, Vibrio barveyi, Vibrio alginolyticus, Pseudomonas sp. and Listobella anguillarum.
